Boundary Layer Meterology

My interests focus on atmospheric turbulence in complex terrain, examining scalar and momentum fluxes under weak wind regimes. Three-dimensional observations and a process-based understanding will enable improvements in modeling weak wind flow regimes. Parameterizations developed from this work will enhance modeling of both short-term processes such as pollutant transport and long-term processes such as impacts on ecosystem refugia stability due to climate change.
